AhlulBayt News Agency: The deputy Canadian ambassador to Iraq, Mr. James Johnson, praised the services provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to visitors.
This came during his and his accompanying delegation's visit to the holy shrine, and his meeting with the advisor of its Senior Official Mr. Talal al-Beer, who gave him an explanation about the history of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the services it provides to visitors and the community.
"The services provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to its visitors and the community are great and cannot be done without the work and effort of those in charge,"Johnson said.
He added that"this visit is the first to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and when I heard about the sacrifice of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his martyrdom in thirst, what he provided was a message for all humanity, not only for Muslims and Shiites alike".
The visit witnessed the organization of a tour of the Al-Kafeel Museum of antiquities and manuscripts of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, where Johnson praised the methods of preserving and displaying museum collections, stressing that they deserve to be seen and praised.
